Job Title: Care Support Worker (Full-Time)

Location: Goddards Care

Hours: Approximately 38 hours per week

Goddards Care is seeking a compassionate, dedicated Care Support Worker to join our team in providing outstanding care for individuals with learning disabilities. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the well-being, safety, and dignity of our residents while helping them live fulfilling and independent lives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide personal care support, including assistance with washing, dressing, and personal hygiene, while promoting independence and respect.

• Safely administer medication as directed by care plans and in line with medication management protocols.

• Monitor and record residents’ well-being, reporting any significant changes to senior staff or management.

• Ensure a clean, safe, and comfortable environment by assisting with light housekeeping as necessary.

• Participate in shift handovers to maintain effective communication and continuity of care between team members.

• Attend regular training sessions and staff meetings to stay up-to-date with best practices and develop your skills further.

• Comply with all company policies, procedures, and relevant health and safety regulations.

Requirements:

• Previous experience working with individuals with learning disabilities or in a care setting is beneficial, but not essential. Full training will be provided.

• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively and empathetically with residents, families, and colleagues.

• A compassionate, patient, and respectful approach to supporting residents’ needs.

• Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.

• A commitment to delivering high-quality, person-centred care.

• Willingness to undergo a background check and provide professional references.

• Flexibility to work a variety of shifts.
